This is a joint event between MN HIMSS and Medical Alley Association

When

Presentation Overview

Earlier this year CMS finalized the Interoperability and Patient Access Rule which impacts a variety of stakeholders throughout healthcare. While the full rule is not fully in effect until early 2022, several pieces go into effect later this year, leaving industry and patients alike with questions and uncertainty. This webinar will provide background information on what’s in the rule, when each major part takes effect, and then we will hear from an expert panel about how the rule will – or won’t work – and what changes patients will actually be able to see when accessing care.

Panel Moderator:

Mark Scrimshire, Chief Interoperability Officer; Blue Button

  • Dave Levin, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Datica
  • Claus T Jensen, Chief Digital Officer and Head of Technology for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
